Becoming a parent for the first time and looking into the eyes of the beautiful life you are now responsible for has a way of focusing you. For me, I began to notice things like the every day cleaners I had used for years made me feel terrible and were filled with synthetic ingredients. Candles on my shelf smelled less pleasant, the shampoo I had used for years started to smell overpowering. Things I thought were "normal" I now felt were harming me and my child, like it wasn't safe and needed to go. 

It was hard to articulate at first but I felt overwhelmingly convicted to make changes to what we used to clean our home, ourselves and the things we brought into our environment. This was the beginning of our families toxin removal journey that has now, after over 10 years, been validated over and over. Artificial fragrance, phthalates, BPA, synthetic detergents, the list goes on.

Our Tallow company was born out of the last frontier of toxin removal in our home. Skincare. After struggling to find a "clean" product to use on our bodies largest organ, our skin, we were introduced to "tallow based skincare." Our 100 percent grass fed and finished "suet" tallow products are the most nourishing, smooth and healthy way to moisturize and care for your skin. 

Now with my husband and 3 children we are fully committed to bringing our frustration with the status quo, years of trial and error, research, and unwavering belief in a healthy environment to you and your family. Although Abby Meadows Tallow is our skincare line, we are already in the works to make Abby Meadows your source for well researched, tried and tested healthy alternatives for you and your family.
